The Role An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Educator (Resuscitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will * Actively contribute to the development and evaluation of contemporary education strategies and lead delivery of education * Ensure standards and best practice are established and maintained * Work in collaboration with the Health Service's Simulation Service * Provide expert guidance in collaboration with senior nursing leadership to support ongoing development and learning opportunities About you To be successful in this position you will require: * Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent * Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia * Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B * Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required * Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed * Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits * Flexible work options * Career Development * Salary Packaging * Modern Facilities * Diverse Work Culture * Research Opportunities * 12.75% super * 17.5% leave loading Salary * Base salary ranging from $136538 - $148242 per annum About Us The Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Unit (NMERU) drives the development of an appropriately skilled nursing and midwifery workforce to deliver evidence-based, person-focused care to our community. There are over 70 nurses in NMERU, each aligned to one of the following four portfolios: Entry to Practice, Education Programs, Research and Administration and Gold Coast Health Respirator Fit Testing Service.
