Job Summary
The Junior Purchasing Officer will oversee procurement activities across the organization, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with production schedules and overall business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process and raise purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of pricing, delivery dates, BOM details, and back orders.
* Collaborate with suppliers to resolve stock returns or credits issues.
* Develop and maintain spreadsheets and purchasing reports to inform business decisions.
* Provide timely updates on lead times to internal departments and support logistics operations as required.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or inventory control.
* Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantageous.
