About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Manager to lead our retail site and drive sales and profitability. The successful candidate will have experience in managing retail operations, leading a team, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead retail operations to achieve sales and surplus targets
* Maximise stock efficiency by ordering, pricing, and displaying products according to our standards and values
* Inspire and lead a team of employees and volunteers with regular training and performance feedback
* Manage budgets and rosters to ensure cost efficiency
* Boost volunteer engagement by building a passionate and committed team
* Build strong community connections by working with local groups, councils, and community partners
Requirements
* Management experience in a retail setting
* Customer service experience
* Excellent people leadership and management skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience using Workday HCM system (highly regarded)
