Enemix has partnered with one of Australia's largest and most prominent consultancies. This international consultancy are one of the leading names in the renewable energy consultancy sector in Australia and are looking for a Head of Energy Analytics to lead the team.
In an expanding and shifting regulatory landscape, this household name have become more dominant in this sector and plan for continued expansion, providing data and analytics, large scale transformation and efficiency consultancy services.
Considering the strong demand and continued growth, they are looking for a Director of Energy Analytics with a demonstrable quantitative and data science background, experienced in working with and managing advanced risk analyst, to join their Melbourne team. It is crucial that you have a desire to grow and learn, lead a high performing team, and have a genuine appetite to make a lasting impact on the Electricity Market.
The Role
As a Director of Energy Analytics, you will bring your Renewable Energy sector expertise (across wind, solar and BESS projects) to lead innovative, industry-standard research and analysis, supporting our customers and the broader battery energy storage sector. You will collaborate with internal research, financial, regulatory, auditing and operating teams to provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to project development and analytics.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of renewable energy engineers in the development and analytics.
* Analysis for the development for utility scale renewable energy projects (solar and wind).
* Oversee Delivery for Australian Clients across all Electricity and Energy Market projects. Client Types range from Developers, Retailers, Gentailers and OEMs.
* Evaluation of operational renewable energy project performance.
* Supporting team operations and assist in training new hires, helping to establish office culture.
* Stay informed about the latest Energy market and policy news, communicating this within the company and to the broader industry.
Qualifications
* Proven advanced experience conducting complex data analysis for renewable energy projects.
* Deep understanding of utility scale renewable energy project development, preferably with experience in CFD, GIS and site assessment.
* Ability to manage and lead a team of energy engineers, overseeing strategies, drive decision making and effectively liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and external stakeholders.
