This position involves providing comprehensive primary healthcare and midwifery services, coordinating child and maternal health programs, and working in a culturally respectful environment.
Key aspects of the role
* Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with current AHPRA registration and immunisation endorsement;
* Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery (preferred);
* Understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and the social, cultural, and economic determinants of health;
* A compassionate and culturally aware approach to maternal and child health;
* Open C Class Driver's Licence;
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain);
* Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
