Due to continued growth, our client is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and drive customer partnerships across South West WA.
The Role
This is a relationship-focused role where you'll manage and grow a portfolio of trade customers while identifying new opportunities for branches within the local market of Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret Rive.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an established portfolio of trade and building accounts
* Build strong relationships with builders, contractors and project managers
* Identify opportunities to expand product supply across existing customers
* Partner with internal Branch Managers to ensure seamless service and order delivery
* Monitor market activity and identify new growth opportunitiesRepresent the business through client meetings, site visits and industry events
About You
* Account Management or B2B sales experience within building and construction supplies
* A deep knowledge of the construction industry is essential
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Commercially minded with a focus on customer retention and growth
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts
* Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within WA
