Job Description Mobile App Developer – Android, iOS & React Native About the client: Our client is a global consultancy delivering secure, scalable mobile solutions across government and enterprise platforms. This role supports mobile app development for public sector initiatives using native and cross-platform technologies. About the role: We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with strong experience in native Android/iOS development and React Native. You’ll be responsible for building accessible, high-performance mobile applications, integrating with APIs and services, and contributing across the full SDLC. Key Responsibilities: Develop and release mobile apps for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, and React Native. Convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers. Integrate with back-end APIs and services including Firebase and CMS platforms. Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms. Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault. Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams. Contribute across the SDLC: design, development, deployment, code reviews, and maintenance. Required Experience: Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS. Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices. Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services. Strong testing and QA collaboration skills. Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC. Desirable Skills: Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection. React and TypeScript development for web applications. Back-end development using Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript. Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience in government or public sector environments. Mandatory Requirements: Australian Citizenship. Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance. What’s on offer?
