Job Overview
Hands‐on accounting role in the Private Enterprise team, working with a diverse client portfolio in the vibrant Brisbane office.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients to meet accounting and tax compliance requirements, including preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns.
* Build collaborative relationships with a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies, on a foundation of trust and competency.
* Assist with accounting and tax advisory work that supports clients' businesses.
* Provide developmental support to other team members through coaching and mentoring as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s).
* Have commenced (or planning to commence) CA qualification.
* Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go 'above and beyond' to provide an exceptional client experience.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline‐driven environment.
* Experience in the use of Xero accounting software (highly regarded).
