Your role
In this role, you will play a key role in:
Implementing and enhancing solutions that deliver quantifiable benefits to clients. You will advise and guide customers on process improvements through Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Working closely with client SMEs and stakeholders, you will respond to and resolve application and user issues within SLA timeframes.
* Support, maintenance, and enhancements including requirements gathering, configuration, design, documentation, testing, report development, training, data migration, knowledge transfer, UAT support, and transition activities.
* Communicate effectively, be proactive, responsible, and capable of handling pressure.
* Work well in offshore/onshore models, taking ownership to complete tasks.
* Learn customer's solution landscape to become an SME, proactively suggesting improvements and identifying pain points.
Your profile:
* 8+ years' experience as an Oracle Apps techno-functional consultant.
* Must have worked on Oracle EBS Finance modules, especially GL, Accounting Hub, AP, and AR.
* Understanding of end-to-end financial processes and integration points.
* Awareness of Oracle technical components like PL/SQL.
* Experience building reports using SQL/PLSQL.
* Experience with Control-M scheduling is desirable.
* At least 2-3 implementation projects completed.
* Ability to gather business requirements, create design solutions, and conduct walkthroughs.
* Manage production support incidents, work on problem management, root cause analysis, and change management.
* Strong integration experience, including interface design, form personalization, and custom solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to bridge gaps between business processes and system behavior with custom solutions.
* Fluent English communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and manage delivery.
* Perform BAU activities like troubleshooting job failures and long-running requests.
* Experience with extracting files from servers using Mobaxterm and Unix system knowledge are advantageous.
