**What impact will you have?**
As Data Governance Manager, you will join a high performing team and will work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders. This is a highly visible position that is instrumental in delivering data governance at scale across FMG as we build upon our successful consulting approach. You will be responsible for driving data management activities across both FMG change teams, as well as critical BAU finance processes, ensuring FMG is supported by trusted and well managed data. Our team operates as the data "Centre of Excellence' for FMG.

Working with the Centre or Excellence leadership team, you will lead Data Management practitioners to uplift awareness and capability of our finance colleagues in the way they manage data. You will be responsible for leading stakeholder engagements, and champion the communications and messaging. You will also bring your problem-solving skills as we build maturity in the way we manage data.
As the Centre of Excellence continues to evolve and mature, you will contribute to continuous improvement of the team's ways of working. We seek to be agile in our processes and respond to maturing capabilities and the changing requirements driving our work.
**What skills will you use?**
To set you up for success in this key leadership role, you will bring with you knowledge of data governance and data management, as well as experience in data management implementation in complex organisations. You will have great stakeholder management and communication skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- supporting the Centre of Excellence in the strategy and project planning for data governance processes and policies
- leading engagements with FMG business groups to embed data governance practices within change and BAU
- Liaising with our Enterprise Data Office and the other Macquarie Bank Data Offices to build enterprise-wide data governance
- champion data roles and responsibilities, helping to build and enable the Finance Data Community
- Working with Data Risk to promote the ability to accurately capture and manage data risk
