Mortgage Loan Specialist Role
As a Mortgage Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and offering secondary market mortgage loans to consumers in Hadspen, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Acquisition
You will proactively seek new opportunities by contacting and referring with Bank customers, real estate brokers, builders, title companies, private mortgage insurance companies, attorneys and other related entities;
* Loan Analysis
You will conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data to determine customer financing objectives;
* Product Advice
You will advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines and gather any additional required information;
* Relationship Development
You will continually identify, develop and maintain a quality network of personal and business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities;
* Customer Service
You will ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements;
Requirements:
* Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Experience
Two years of mortgage loan experience and one year of real estate/sales experience are required. A Bachelor's Degree with specialization in real estate or finance may substitute in lieu of experience.
* Skills
Working knowledge of mortgage lending and laws/regulations procedures is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications is also required.
* Work Environment
The incumbent must be able to work with limited supervision.
