Avivo are looking for High Care Support Workers to enable customers to remain living in their own home and stay connected to the community.
Role Overview
Hourly rates ranging from $31.92 - $34.47 + penalties + super + travel.
Permanent part‐time position with a variety of flexible shifts available, including overnight and weekend shifts. High Care Support Position – training is provided.
Duties
* Driven person‐centred support tailored to individual needs
* Assist with daily living activities and community engagement
* Manual tasks such as hoisting
* Provide safe and effective support for customers with dysphagia and cerebral palsy
* Regular communication and engagement with your local team
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (essential)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
* Ability to facilitate people to develop and sustain their own social connections and relationships
* Excellent communication skills and a can‐do attitude to help ensure our customers receive flexible and individualized support
* Ability to assist with physical tasks and help with mobility as needed
* Willingness to perform high care support, including bowel care
* Mobile phone for work use
