Loaves and Fishes Tasmania is offering a full time kitchen traineeship at our busy Devonport site preparing up to 18000 meals per week – a unique chance to gain hands-on experience while learning in a supportive, community-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Kitchen Trainee, you’ll be part of a team that prepares and serves healthy, delicious meals to support Tasmanian's in need. You’ll learn practical skills from experienced kitchen professionals, all while working toward a nationally recognised qualification in cookery.
You’ll be:
- Assisting in meal preparation
- Learning food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations
- Contributing to a team making a real difference in the lives of others
What We’re Looking For:

This traineeship is open to applicants who are eligible to work in Australia and committed to completing their training.
