Job Overview
Join Raytheon Australia as a Senior Avionics Technician. You will support the Australian Defence Force's F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD 4306, working within the Raytheon Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) facility on the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (AEASP).
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on avionics components and equipment within ADF Technical and Regulatory airworthiness guidelines.
* Achieve Trade Supervisor authorisation for component and equipment maintenance within Avionics workshops.
* Repair and service repairable items (RI's), subcomponents and ground support equipment (GSE) following Authorised Maintenance Data.
* Modify components or higher assemblies as required.
* Perform functional testing of RI's on Automated Test Equipment (CASS/eCASS).
* Maintain a strong focus on safety while meeting production requirements.
* Ensure technical, quality and regulatory compliance to meet Defence Aviation Safety Regulations and ISO certifications.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or national equivalent.
* Previous experience in aircraft or workshop maintenance.
* User familiarity with the ADF Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2) system.
* Understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations and EH&S requirements.
* Eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 level Security clearance.
