Access to Advanced Techniques & Subspecialty Services Stereotactic Therapy Statewide Brachytherapy Service: home to Tasmania’s only Brachytherapy Suite, servicing a population of approximately 500,000. A newly upgraded HDR unit was installed in 2024, offering exciting opportunities for those interested in advancing skills in this area. We actively encourage clinicians with an interest in Brachytherapy to upskill and lead innovation within this field. Research & Academic Opportunities A dedicated clinical trials and research unit runs multiple Phase II and III studies, with strong links to national and international research groups. An established Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) program ensures high-quality, collaborative care across specialties.
