Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic Pipeline E&I Technician for a full-time, permanent position based in Dalby. Preference for candidates residing in Dalby; no fly-in fly-out or drive-in drive-out.
Reporting to the Dalby Supervisor, the role involves safely executing field services for Verbrec’s operated pipelines and external clients. Responsibilities include: Meter validations, Non-Fiscal equipment calibrations, Cathodic Protection and DCVG Surveys, PLC Fault finding, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning of pipelines and facilities, along with general electrical work.
Adhere to safety, environmental, community, and stakeholder requirements.
Meet quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets.
Comply with relevant statutory and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in process plant operations or CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester (Desirable)
Trade certificate – Cert III in Electrical Technology (Mandatory)
Experience in the gas industry, especially in Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, Meter Validations, EEHA, pipeline inspection, and maintenance (Highly regarded)
Safety-first approach
Experience working in remote areas
Ability to work independently
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop diverse skills
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Sound computer skills
Experience communicating with landowners and occupiers
