About the role
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Management Officer (Records) to join our Corporate & Commercial Directorate on an 18-month contract (ending around 22 March 2027).
In this role you will:
- Deliver professional and efficient records management services across the organisation.
- Appraise, capture, store, and dispose of corporate records in line with the State Records Act 2000 (WA) and City policies.
- Provide training and support to staff on the City’s Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS – Ci Anywhere).
- Assist with Freedom of Information (FOI) processing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and information governance standards are consistently met.
About you:
- You will have experience working with an EDRMS, excellent organisational and communication skills, strong computer literacy (including Microsoft Office), and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- A current National Police Clearance and WA “C” Class driver’s licence are required.
- Tertiary qualifications in information/records management or related fields and local government experience will be well regarded.
