Our client is a leader in marine construction and environmental dredging in South Australia, looking for skilled Marine Dredge Operators to join their team.This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work around weather conditions, tidal movements, and shipping schedules, including night shifts and weekends as needed. You will have a strong commitment to safety with a willingness to take initiative and get the job done.What you will be doingOperate and maintain dredging equipmentAssist with pre-operation checks of all equipment and systems, including storm anchors, navigation lights, seacocks, inverters, bilge pumps, and winch locksInspect and maintain the integrity of dredge piping systems, performing necessary repairs to ensure safe and efficient operationEnsure pipeline safety by actively monitoring vessel traffic and taking precautions to prevent collisions or interferenceComplete accurate water quality testing and recording each shiftMonitor and maintain anchor barge tender equipment and fuel suppliesGeneral routine maintenanceWhat's RequiredAMSA Certified Coxswain 1NC certification with no restrictions.
