Kyvalley Dairy Group is a 100% family owned business based in Victoria. It is a vertically integrated dairy business owning and managing Dairy Farms that support the fresh milk manufacturing plant. This position will join our Operation team at our Geelong factory to cover the cleaning requirements for the factory.
TASK:
* Clean and sanitise production floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces within the food manufacturing area
* Perform deep cleaning on production equipment, including conveyors, case packer, and packaging lines
* Safely use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines/SDS
* Maintain cleanliness standards in alignment with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
* Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards.
* Support other departments in ensuring hygiene standards are upheld across the facility including milk filling/debagging and external yard.
* Per-production set up, size changes and staging of raw materials.
* Room fogging and preparation.
SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Available to work nights – 10pm to 6am
* Experience cleaning in a food manufacturing site (FMCG) mandatory
* Chemical handling exposure
* Physically fit, some heavy lifting at times
* Excellent time management
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Mechanically minded to conduct size changes and conveyor belt removal.
