We are on the lookout for Merchandise Allocator to join our Schoolwear division based at our Sydney Head Office. This is a maternity leave cover for 12 months looking to start in August, with the possibility of the role being extended.
As a Merchandise Allocator you will manage stock allocations and replenishments to stores whilst supporting the planning function. You will be good with numbers, excited by data and have a passion for retail.
**Essentially this position will involve**:
- Support the Merchandising Team by analysing sales trends, monitoring deliveries and maintaining stock levels.
- Analyse merchandise performance and allocate stock effectively to maximise sales potential and exceed sales goals.
- First point of contact for Account Managers and stores regarding stock levels.
- Process orders and communicate these with our suppliers and relevant Schoolwear stakeholders.
- Monitor deliveries and stock levels in distribution centres and stores.
**To be successful in this role, you will have the following**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate at Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated allocation experience within a retail industry.
