Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned electrical professional to lead the design and delivery of innovative electrical solutions for street lighting, traffic signals, and Intelligent Transportation Systems projects across Queensland.
* This role offers an opportunity to work on complex transport infrastructure projects while developing leadership skills in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver high-quality electrical projects for public lighting, traffic signals, and ITS systems;
* Conduct feasibility studies, develop concepts, and create detailed designs;
* PPrepare EQL documentation for Rate 2 and Rate 3 lighting designs; Develop technical reports specifications BoQs scopes datasheets; Provide site support construction advice commissioning assistance Ensure compliance with EQL TMR council Australian standards; Collaborate with teams to achieve coordinated design outcomes Build maintain strong client relationships contribute business growth Manage forecasts risk commercial performance Support team development mentoring positive project culture
The ideal candidate will possess Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent), at least three years' experience in electrical design preferably within transport infrastructure. The successful individual will demonstrate proven expertise in public lighting design rate two three Traffic signal knowledge ITS desirable Strong Aussie Standard Knowledges Project management communication stakeholder engagement Skills Complex info explaination local audiences Be Able;
