What We’re Looking For
- 10 years plus experience in Structural Engineering and a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Leading small multidisciplinary teams for design projects
- Mentoring and coaching of personnel
- Conducting project designs and reviews
- Execute projects/studies to schedule and budget
- Develop efficient and economical designs
- Knowledge and adherence to company design standards
- Knowledge and adherence to Australian and International standards
- Devises practical and economical solutions to various problems requiring original thinking and ingenuity
- Extensive use and understanding of the structural software (specifically SpaceGass and/or Strand)
- Positive communication with engineers and designers and understanding of engineering deliverables and design intent
- Active engagement in design reviews with clients
- Forming relationships and liaising with vendors
- Actively engaging in Business Development
- Proven experience of finding, securing and executing studies/projects
- Onsite work (performance of structural remediation and structural integrity audits)
