Lead, teach, and support remote teams while enjoying a unique, rewarding lifestyle in tropical Darwin.The RoleAs the Medical Oncologist, you will provide specialist Medical Oncology services to both inpatient and ambulatory patients at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH), regional hospitals, and remote communities. You’ll also contribute to postgraduate education at RDH, including supervising trainees.Key DutiesConduct regular inpatient ward rounds and outpatient sessions, incorporating teaching and providing specialist opinions to referring medical practitioners.Provide care and advice on the management of patients with oncological conditions to colleagues, including those in geographically isolated locations in the Territory.Provide routine and emergency after-hours care on a roster basis.Offer an after-hours consultancy service to colleagues and junior medical staff.About youYou’re a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional oncology care.
