The Role
We’re looking for a qualified Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team in the Cairns region. The role involves working across Cairns practices with shift times varying based on practice hours. Participation in the weekday and weekend on-call roster is required; both part-time and full-time positions are available. You will perform high-quality work across general ultrasound, obs/gyn, MSK and vascular. Accreditation in nuchal translucency is highly regarded.
About You
- Full ASAR registration is required
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer
- Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff and referrers
- Ongoing commitment to skill development and personal/skilled growth
- Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to adapt to existing processes and policies
- Friendly, caring and compassionate nature
