Hyster-Yale Asia-Pacific Pty Ltd is looking for a Area Business Manager, Pacific to join their Pacific Sales team at their Sydney office based in Prospect.

The key accountabilities for this role are:

* The incumbent will be responsible for managing retail sales through the Pacific dealer / sub dealer network and execute strategies through proactive CRM pipeline and dealer inventory management as well as working to HYImpact deal management.
* They will need to drive profitable year on year sales growth for assigned dealers in the territory and take full accountability for implementing dealer business plans and delivering revenue, market share growth objectives.
* The incumbent will also work closely with the internal sales and support teams to manage the business as well as externally building close relationships with dealer retail sales managers.
* The role is responsible for Hyster Yale Pacific Retail Sales performance by ensuring that the dealers meet DABP (Dealer Annual Business Plans) performance targets and HYMH achieves Annual budgets and revenue targets in the respective Hyster and Yale Class segment.
* Integral part of this role is Dealer Management, by maintaining a clean and current pipeline dashboard on monthly basis to drive accuracy with Power BI reports, by increasing dealer participation and closure rates against target. This role also focusses to participate and lead monthly dealer retail team cadence meetings to achieve forecasted results. Additionally, Monitoring dealer performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), developing recovery plans for underperforming dealers, and providing necessary coaching and development to ensure high performance.
* System understanding and training by delivering training on the Hy Impact process, dealer portal, online systems and sales tool available to increase quoting efficiency.

* This role also performs Business Development activities by identifying distribution channels to ensure comprehensive market coverage and Implementing sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities to drive growth and meet with sales targets

* Internal stakeholder engagement is critical for the role by liaising with factory and order management teams, supporting HYMH Major Account teams and engaging with the Solutions, Parts and Service teams to support resolving dealer issues/ requests.

What you will need:

* Degree qualified or relevant professional experience
* Minimum 6 years of sales experience in the Material Handling Equipment Industry
* Dealing with retail and major account customers
* Budgeting and financial reporting exposure
* Software proficiency in dealing with applications like Microsoft Office, Power BI and CRM systems.
* Strong Communication Skills (Written and verbal)
* Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to analyse data, provide performance insights, and develop tailored business plans.
