Barassi's restaurant is one of Cairns' largest dining rooms within a well-appointed Club. The club dining areas are more than a restaurant or café - they are a community hub, where our members come to Meet, Drink, Eat and Play.
We are looking for qualified chefs to add to our team at Cazalys Cairns as we see our dining space get busier every week due to the high quality of our food. The position offers excellent working conditions in a friendly team environment.
The Role

The successful candidates will be working as part of a team of chefs.
The restaurant is open 7 days per week with all-day dining (9 am-9 pm) as part of our service requirements. The focus is on a diverse club menu producing good quality food and value for money.
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is preferred, and experience in fast-paced kitchens is a plus.
Requirements:
* You are an experienced professional chef
* Confident in working all sections in a kitchen
* Must be able to take direction
* Reliable and hard-working
* Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
* Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1pm-9pm
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is preferred, and experience in fast-paced kitchens is a plus.
