We're looking for a reliable, experienced Level 3 or Level 5 Climbing Arborist/grounds person to join our team. At Local Tree Care, we've worked hard to develop a positive team environment. We're family focused with a strong emphasis on safety, and consider our team as assets to our business, so a good attitude, clear communication and an ability to connect with our team and clients are our primary focus in finding the right person. We're based in Albury-Wodonga and focus our work within the local area, Monday to Friday, so that each team member can be home at night.
The suitable applicant would hold:
* Minimum Certificate III Arboriculture or higher
* EWP Ticket (preferred but not essential)
* Manual driver's licence (unrestricted and valid)
* Competent and skilled in tree removal and pruning (including confined spaces)
* White Card
* MR licence (preferred but not essential)
* First Aid (preferred but not essential)
* Traffic Control (preferred but not essential)
* Chemical Users Certificate (preferred but not essential)
* Physically fit and proficient with rigging, ropes and harness and a good understanding of AS (Australian Pruning Standards)
* Able to work in a positive team environment, reliable, possess a good work ethic, strong communication skills, be punctual and professional
Responsibilities
Predominantly tree removal / pruning services but the role encompasses all aspects of tree maintenance including tree removal, pruning, stump removal, storm damage, tree assessments and reports (Level 5), pest and disease treatment for a wide range of private, commercial and government clients.
Either climbing and undertaking tree removal / pruning services or assisting the climbers on site, ensuring at all times a high standard of work, as well as a high emphasis on communication and safety for all on site.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of the equipment each day (chainsaws, EWP, chippers, stump grinder, loader, and other equipment as needed each day).
