Job Description
* Act as the sole HR Advisor across 18 branches and 1000+ staff
* Partner with senior leaders and Dealer Principals to deliver strategic HR advice and solutions
* Manage workforce planning, recruitment, on-boarding, and induction processes
* Oversee contracts, employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
* Develop and implement HR policies aligned with business objectives
* Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and culture
* Supervise and support the Payroll & HR Officer, including leave coverage
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industry standards
* Identify and execute training and development programs across the business
* Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to inform executive decision-making
* Contribute to change management efforts during growth or restructure
The Successful Applicant
* Formal qualifications in Human Resources.
* Experienced HR Business Partner or Manager with strong generalist capability.
* Expertise in HR operations and strategy with a pragmatic and commercially minded approach.
* Strong knowledge of Australian workplace laws and regulations.
* Proven experience in managing employee relations and HR projects.
* Proven track record of advising senior stakeholders and working autonomously.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
* Automotive or similar industry experience preferred.
