*About your new roleDue to our expanding Newcastle team's we have a couple of newly created roles available fora New Graduate or experienced Occupational Therapistacross Central Coast, Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter regions.
Within your new role as a Rehabilitation Consultantyou will be inducted through an extensive training induction based at our head office in Sydney, shadowing opportunities and ongoing support from your team leader and peer mentor to set you up for success. You will build up to managing your own portfolio of clients with their return to work plan by:*
* Managing a portfolio of return-to-work files and ADL assessments
* Completing one-off assessments and making recommendations
* Attending medical appointments and communicating complex medical information back to insurer customers
* Initial assessments, workplace assessments, ADL assessments (OT)
* Writing insurance reports
* Communicating with injured worker, employer, doctor and other medical professionals to ensure appropriate recovery plan
* Facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work plan
* Documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements

*About You*
* Tertiary qualified as Occupational Therapist
* Full registration with AHPRA
* Car and valid Driver's license
* Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
* Customer service driven with "can do attitude"
