About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth and success across our business, Hardchrome Sales is now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our well-equipped workshop located at Welshpool, WA 6106.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
* Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
* Complete hands-on machining activities to repair or manufacture components in the workshop to meet customer requirements in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies and procedures
* Attend and participate in toolbox talks
* Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.
To be considered for this position, you will possess;
* Relevant trade qualifications (Machinist)
* Read drawings, interpret written and verbal work instructions
* Ability to read and measure in micrometres (desirable)
* Able to work afternoon shift
* Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Able to work unsupervised
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can do' attitude.
This position will attract a wage of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
