Senior Telecoms Engineer Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Telecoms Engineer will lead the design and implementation of complex communications projects incorporating radio sites, IP nodes, fibre optic, copper-based transmission systems, and power supply systems.
* Develop high-level and detailed design documentation
* Perform hands-on work with equipment configuration and integration
* Participate in factory and site testing
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Technical Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a CCNP/JNCIS/JNCIP qualified Network Engineer certification and at least 10 years' experience. A degree in engineering that enables full membership to Engineers Australia is also required. In addition, you should have extensive experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies and a strong understanding of IP/MPLS, BGP4, and OSPF.
You must also be able to demonstrate experience in engineering report writing and have experience working in the Rail sector.
