Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?

We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience in Surgical Nursing across our specialised surgical wards such as Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Paediatrics, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology and Plastics.

Currently we have vacancies across our Victoria locations that include:

- Holmesglen Private Hospital, Moorabbin VIC 3189
- John Fawkner Private Hospital, Coburg VIC 3058
- La Trobe Private Hospital, Bundoora VIC 3083
- Northpark Private Hospital, Bundoora VIC 3083

We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Surgical departments in various roles, in a fulltime, part time or casual capacity. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and a passion for delivery outstanding care.

As a Registered Nurse (Surgical), your responsibilities will include:

- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient car
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Minimum 2 years' Registered Nursing in an acute surgical environment
- Working with Children check
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (Desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement" (salaries range between $36.13 and $48.32 per hour).

Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
