Job Description
As an Engine Systems Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs to engines at customer sites. Your role will involve engaging with customers in a professional manner, anticipating their needs, and providing prompt attention.
You will apply specialized tools and follow procedures to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. You will also perform preventative maintenance activities on engine and related components, escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians, and complete required documentation.
In addition, you will identify service opportunities with customers, complete training as needed, and maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Apprentice Trained Engine Technician certification or equivalent
* Basic workshop or field service experience
* Knowledge of engine products
