The Role
This hands‐on NPD Officer role will play a key part in delivering product innovation projects from ideation through to commercialisation. Working closely with sales, customers, suppliers, production, engineering, quality, and planning teams, you will manage multiple projects across formulation, trials, scale‐up, and technical documentation within a fast‐moving manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, reformulate, and commercialise products across a range of channels
* Conduct kitchen, pilot, and factory trials whilst supporting product scale‐up into manufacturing
* Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored food solutions
* Manage formulations, specifications, BOMs, batch sheets, and shelf‐life testing activities
* Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across the NPD function
About You
* Experience within food manufacturing, including experience in NPD or product development
* Strong understanding of food formulation, ingredient functionality, and commercial manufacturing processes
* Experience within sauces, condiments, wet culinary, or industrial food environments highly regarded
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with customers and suppliers
* Hands‐on, proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast‐paced environment
