Job Description:DXC Claims Management is excited to commence operations in NSW partnering to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers in New South Wales.With over 20 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team. DXC are currently partnering with a reputable Government Health Organisation, setting up their Workers' Compensation Department and would love you to join the team as a Compliance Specialist.The Compliance Specialist will implement and manage an internal control and governance framework to deliver business objectives. Ensure adherence to all contractual and legal obligations. Work with the senior management team to contribute to developing and implementing organisational strategies, policies and practices.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for ensuring compliance with the icare Agency AgreementProvide independent verification of performance to managementDevelop, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of internal controlsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive internal audit programEnsure audits are conducted in accordance with the audit programIdentify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and fraud preventionProvide detailed reporting to management and the senior leadership teamLiaise with internal and external clients on Compliance activitiesTo be successfulTechnical Knowledge/ industry experienceKnowledge of Legislation, icare Policies and guidelinesMinimum of 5 years in claims management or in statutory benefits systemCompliance / Internal audit experienceUnderstanding of internal control framework testing and monitoringRisk management experienceManagement experienceComputer skills: Outlook and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeFlexible working arrangementsOur virtual first approach means we offer a high degree of work flexibility.
