Mahcon Civil is seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Hand to manage our shed and yard operations. This is more than just a warehousing/labouring role- working closely with the office and site team, you'll be the go-to person for keeping materials, equipment and fleet organised and ready to support our projects. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys independent, hands-on work and takes pride in running their space efficiently

The Role
Keep the yard and shed in top shape- tidy, safe and organised
Accept deliveries, file delivery dockets and oversee safe storage of materials (general inventory management)
Manage tools, equipment and materials- knowing what we have and what we need
Runs to sites and material collections from suppliers
Wash and complete pre-starts on the fleet
Clean, service and maintain tools and equipment
General maintenance, use of hand tools and small mechanical tasks as needed
About You
Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously without supervision
Strong safety-focus
Switched-on and proactive, always looking for better ways to do things
Comfortable with technology (mobile apps and systems)
Practical and takes initiative, taking real pride in keeping things running smoothly
Physically fit, reliable and ready to be hands-on.
