Job Description

Salary: $110,873 - $124,173 commensurate with experience + super + salary packaging benefits (equivalent of up to $6400 extra salary) + remote area benefits

Relocation and retention package allowance: up to $12,000 for relocation, accommodation and wellness support

Employment status: Full time or part time positions available, with flexible working arrangements

Location: Alice Springs, Northern Territory

Diverse caseload: NDIS participants, paediatric and adult caseloads available, clinic and community settings

Carpentaria is a not-for-profit organisation with a 50-year history of providing disability and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults in the Northern Territory. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Allied Health Assistants.

About you

You’re looking for a new adventure and an opportunity to diversify your clinical experience and take on a senior role in a growing team. You enjoy a relaxed, outdoor lifestyle, and value a collaborative workplace where you can truly make a difference.

You will be able to demonstrate:

1. Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current certification
2. Experience within a disability sector context, working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
3. A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
4. Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
5. Experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports

You will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Drivers Licence.
