This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or engineering trade background who enjoys leading teams, improving workshop efficiency and delivering high-quality outcomes across service, repair and equipment preparation.
You will work closely with internal service and sales teams to ensure heavy transport equipment is prepared, serviced and delivered safely and efficiently.
As Workshop Supervisor you will oversee daily workshop operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within required timeframes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising workshop staff and ensuring clear job scopes and expectations
* Managing workflow and coordinating projects within scheduled timeframes
* Monitoring workshop productivity and efficiency
* Supporting cost control and job management
* Managing customer communication including quoting and scheduling
* Supporting internal processes and workshop operations
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand or Foreman
* Mechanical or engineering trade background
* Experience within heavy vehicle, transport or equipment workshops
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Ability to manage deadlines, workflow and workshop productivity
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
Highly Regarded
* Experience working with heavy haulage or specialised transport equipment
* Knowledge of pneumatic tanker systems or tanker operations
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
* Occasional rotating Saturday roster
