Risk Management Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the strengthening of operational risk management across the organisation, developing and maintaining a new risk taxonomy, and enhancing risk management processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Strengthening operational risk management across the organisation
* Developing and maintaining a new risk taxonomy (e.g., ORIX)
* Enhancing risk management processes by developing a new control library
* Oversseeing the creation and implementation of new risk and control mapping strategies
* Assisting in creating new risk registers
* Establishing divisional Risk Appetite Statements
* Developing comprehensive risk profiles
* Improving the existing Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
* Supporting data quality reviews
* Enhancing the issue and action management process
* Embedding the Three Lines of Defense (3LoD) model and enhancing risk culture within the organisation
* Drafting, reviewing, and updating risk policies
* Implementing changes to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in risk management within financial services or fund administration
* Experience with Data Quality Reviews
* Experience with Risk Data and Data cleanse initiatives
* Experience with Risk Reporting & Data Analytics
* Experience with Risk & Controls uplifts and Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
* Ability to connect, engage, pivot, and change while being thoughtful, considerate, and respectful of others
