Job Overview
The Aboriginal Mental Health Specialist role involves providing psychological services to young people who have committed offences.
* Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised treatment plans to support the needs of young people, their families, and community.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver therapeutic programs and interventions that address the complex needs of young people.
* Working closely with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to ensure culturally safe and effective practice.
Key requirements for this position include:
* Current provisional or full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* A valid Driver's Licence and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
* A current Working with Children Check clearance.
