Lead Transit Facility Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead transit facility projects, requiring expertise in transportation or industrial projects and managing multidisciplinary design teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing concept and design of vehicle and transit maintenance facilities for various project sizes, as well as coordinating professional staff work and overseeing project development.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage concept and design of vehicle and transit maintenance facilities for various project sizes.
* Coordinate professional staff work and oversee project development.
* Manage maintenance facility design staff and resources, review all project phases, and lead cross-functional teams across time zones.
* Participate in client meetings and design development sessions.
* Coordinate workload, monitor project schedules, and manage budgets.
* Serve as primary manager of production teams when needed.
* Handle facility programming, report writing, site planning, and develop specifications.
* Coordinate design aspects, vendor relations, and review submittals and RFIs.
* Conduct construction observations and other engineering tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering (Master's preferred).
* At least 12 years of experience in project management within design or engineering fields.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
Preferred Skills:
* Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
* Leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Client relationship management skills.
