The Role
Coodanup College is seeking a dedicated Vocational Trainer and Assessor who ideally has current experience designing and delivering quality training programmes within our growing senior school VET department.
The successful applicant should be organised and solutions‐focused with a broad range of skills and strategies to meet a range of students' learning needs, interests and abilities. The successful applicant should also be competent in the use of technology and have sound communication and effective interpersonal skills.
The Vocational Trainer and Assessor will ideally have experience in the delivery of Building and Construction or other trades‐based courses, but other areas of expertise would also be considered.

Qualifications
* Demonstrated relevant current industry skills, knowledge, experience and competency in the industry vocation or professional field.
* Demonstrated comprehensive understanding and sound knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training Quality Framework, including Training Packages, Australian Qualifications Framework, the Standards for RTOs, Recognition of Prior Learning and competency‐based training and assessment.
* Demonstrated ability to design and prepare training programmes and assessment materials to a high standard.
* Demonstrated sound written and verbal communication skills with appropriate interpersonal skills for working with young people.
* Demonstrated initiative and organisational skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
