Assistant Development Manager- Land Lease Communities

We're excited to offer an Assistant Development Manager to join our growing Land Lease Communities team in Perth. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their development career while contributing to community centred, market leading projects within a high growth portfolio.

You'll join a passionate team shaping the future of living for over 55 Australians, helping deliver vibrant communities that include freestanding homes, clubhouses, recreational facilities and beautifully designed open spaces.

An emerging development professional who brings curiosity, initiative and a passion for creating exceptional resident experiences within community focused environments.

What You'll Do

* Support the Development Manager and broader team in the delivery of projects aligned to Stockland's vision, strategy and commercial goals.
* Contribute to project performance by coordinating stakeholders and supporting key deliverables across planning, design, approvals, sales, and delivery.
* Assist in the management of project schedules, budgets, risks, reporting and financial performance.
* Support the design development process, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and community expectations.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, authorities, sales teams and onsite delivery partners.
* Monitor onsite progress, participate in site meetings, and help drive actions to maintain project momentum.
* Assist with market and competitor research to ensure our communities remain competitive and compelling.

About You

You're passionate about development and motivated by contributing to projects that genuinely enhance people's lives. You thrive in a collaborative, fast paced environment and are looking for a role that offers exposure across the full development lifecycle while growing your commercial and project delivery capability.

Experience & Skills That Count

* Degree qualified in property, planning, development, engineering, construction or a related discipline, OR relevant industry experience. Ability to take initiative and work both autonomously and within a team environment.
* Demonstrated experience delivering customer centred outcomes.
* Foundational knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
* Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

* Curious, proactive and willing to ask the right questions to achieve outcomes.
* Resilient, adaptable and commercially minded.
