Job Description
The Motor Mechanic will be responsible for performing various tasks including inspecting and diagnosing engine faults, dismantling and repairing mechanical systems, and testing vehicle components.
* Inspect and diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, steering systems, brake systems, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
* Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and related parts for repair or replacement.
* Repair or replace worn and faulty parts, reassemble mechanical systems, and ensure proper functionality.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on motor vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
* Diagnose and repair complex engine problems, using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals as needed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operations and high-quality customer service.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred).
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.
* Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of motor vehicles.
