In Australia, we have a presence on over 40 mining operations and, due to growth and internal movement, we are seeking experienced Tyre Fitters for our Rio operations at Hope Downs 1 and Hope Downs 4 in WA.
The Role
The crew consists of 4 Tyre Fitters/Technicians: working across dayshift and nightshift, on a range of machinery including a Komatsu 830E main fleet, CAT 777, Komatsu WA1200 and Letourneau L2350. The site has exceptional tyre facilities.
About You
Preferably a minimum of 2 years tyre fitting experience on mine sites
Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/AUR21920 (essential)
HR Drivers Licence
Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
Ability to work autonomously
