Visiting Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine (FACEM) – John Hunter Hospital (HNELHD), Newcastle NSW.
This is a fixed‐term 12‐month appointment (0.25 FTE). As a Consultant Emergency Physician you will provide contemporary specialist emergency care, education, and support in one of NSW's busiest referral hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend and be available during rostered work hours, on‐call periods, clinical handovers, supervision, teaching, and routine care as required by HNELHD.
* Respond on site within a reasonable time when on‐call.
* Provide education and support to multidisciplinary teams and junior colleagues.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Primary medical degree registered with AHPRA.
* Fellowship with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
* Availability to commence before 1 September 2026.
