Reliability Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Achieve high equipment availability and support a productive work environment by conducting thorough maintenance, addressing breakdowns promptly, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritize health and safety protocols in all work activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on various site equipment, including conveyors and PLCs.
* React efficiently to equipment failures, communicate effectively with affected parties, and resolve issues promptly.
* Contribute to ongoing improvement by analyzing breakdowns, sharing feedback, and suggesting enhancements through the line manager.
* Maintain high levels of equipment availability for internal customers.
* Collaborate with Senior Maintenance Technicians to learn from their expertise and enhance skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Formal trade qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualifications formally recognized in Australia.
* Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
* Knowledge of fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
* Able to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
* Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
* Experience working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with CMMS systems.
* Experience with sortation machines.
* Experience with maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
* Experience with print and apply machines.
