Role Description
Take your next step in your career within our team of engineers. Reporting to our Chief Engineer, this full-time position plays a key role in supporting the technological development and capability verification of our cutting-edge line of UAS.
Being an SME at the forefront of technological development in a fast-paced environment, you'll be using your whole toolbox of skills along with your aptitude to gain skills which may not fit the title but be required to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute flight test plans to meet project objectives.
· Provide flight test engineering support on various capability development and ADF demonstration deployments throughout Australia.
· Contribute to the technological and capability development of aerial platforms.
· Contribute to scopes of work, work breakdown structures and job quoting.
· Organise and coordinate assignments within agreed budget and schedule.
· Various project and post activity reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering degree.
· Mid-level experienced engineer, 5yrs+.
· Proven working experience in one or more of these areas:
Aircraft and / or UAS flight testing operations;
Aircraft and / or UAS design and standards;
UAS ground control station operations;
Aerodynamic analysis and / or aircraft sizing;
Aircraft structural analysis;
Civil and / or Defence Aviation Safety Regulations;
· Shown ability to work to deadlines, prioritise between multiple complex tasks, and work independently.
· Defence security clearance or an ability to obtain one is a requirement.
· UAS design & development experience desirable.
· Mechatronics experience desirable.
Applicants must have full, permanent work rights in Australia. Applicants must be able to obtain National Police and other related security clearances that apply to the role.
