Your opportunity
As our valued Registered Nurse at Kalyra Belair Residential Aged Care, you'll ensure the best possible quality of life for our residents. By providing clinical and personal care to residents you'll contribute to a safe, home-like environment that upholds residents' comfort, independence and dignity.
Part of your responsibilities will include adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines while administering medication, conducting wound care, and supervising Enrolled Nurses. You'll also liaise with resident stakeholders, including family members and health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care planning and effective communication.
Your role extends to implementing and maintaining resident care plans, conducting assessment activities, and monitoring care worker practice to ensure consistent service delivery focused on wellness and person-centered care.

This role is based in Belair SA, with 5 night duty shifts available a fortnight and the opportunity to pick up extra AM and PM shifts. At Kalyra the night shift is 2245-0715.
We prefer to hire on a permanent part-time basis; however, if you are available on the days and times listed below and are seeking casual employment, we would be open to considering your application.
The set shifts we have available are:
* Week 1 Monday night, Tuesday night, and Wednesday night
* Week 2 Thursday night and Friday night.
What you'll bring
You're a compassionate, empathetic and resilient person who deeply respects and seeks to enhance the wellbeing and dignity of older people. Your excellent care and interpersonal skills will facilitate our residents' comfort and privacy, and you respect their individual preferences, values and beliefs.
You'll also need:
* AHPRA Registration
* Minimum 2 years experience as a registered nurse
* A committed approach to person-centred care and compliance standards
* National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
* Current First Aid and CPR accreditation
* 3 x COVID-19 vaccinations and annual influenza vaccination
