Global Soils is a leading environmental consultancy and contractor specialising in mine site revegetation and rehabilitation.
We are seeking an experienced Skid steer operator to assist with the establishment and maintenance of vegetation across a number of mine sites in the Hunter Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate machinery safely and efficiently in various site conditions
* The use of various attachments – Forestry mulcher, Slasher, Bucket, Ripper
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
* Adhere to all site safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
* Maintain accurate records of daily work activities
About you:
* Minimum 2 years' current experience as an operator (Skidsteer)
* Current SOA/VOC for Skidsteer operations
* Valid driver's licence (preferably MR)
* Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing conditions
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
* Experience working on a mine site or civil construction
* Experience operating other machinery e.g. Tractor/excavator
* Qualifications in Agriculture/Horticulture/Conservation/Landscaping or related discipline
* Current AQF3 chemical handling accreditation
* White card
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police reference check.
